Easy & Fabulous Casserole Beef & Plum Jam stew

Ingredients
- 0.5 - 1kg casserole beef
- 1 large can tomato soup
- 1/2 jar good plum jam
- red wine
- 2 large carrots
This recipe it is great with oyster blade, but I have also used chuck steak, casserole beef, gravy beef, diced beef & Ossu Bucco (often a mix of a few cuts) & they ALL work. To start with cut the beef into chunks, then brown with some oil in a frying pan. Only enough to sear, then pop them into the slow cooker. If you have a bit left over in the pan, deglaze with 1/2 a cup of red wine, swill this around then pour into cooker. Add jam and can of tomato soup and carrots chopped.
Slow cook 4 ours on high, or 8 hours on low. Delicious with rice! Great meal for the kids.
